Guidelines For Use

• Shared Understanding: Introduce Speak Up Signal during a calm moment so everyone understands how it will be used.
• Respect the Signal: When a child uses the Speak Up Light or leaves a note, respond calmly and when appropriate. They shouldn't feel pressured to explain immediately.
• Keep it Supportive: Speak Up Signal should never be used to punish, shame, or force conversations.

Speak Up Signal is designed for everyday family use. To help your kit last longer and remain safe to use:

• Charge the Speak Up Light using the supplied USB charging cable or another suitable USB charging cable.
• Keep the light away from water and avoid exposing it to excessive heat.
• Store the notebook, prompt cards, pencil, and stickers in a clean, dry place.
• Adult supervision is recommended when younger children are using the kit or handling small components.

• Speak Up Signal is a communication and connection tool for home use. It is not a medical device, therapeutic diagnostic tool, or a replacement for professional psychological, psychiatric, or developmental support. If you have concerns about a child's mental health, safety, or wellbeing, please consult a qualified healthcare or mental health professional.

• We take great care in packaging and preparing each kit. If your kit arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at speakupsignal@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with photos so we can assist with a replacement.
